Two home openers at Bratislava and Newcastle on Tuesday

Fourth week of October offers five matches, including two home openers on Tuesday, October 22. Inter Bratislava will meet the 2024 Polish Cup winner Legia Warszawa, while Newcastle Eagles are hosting a 2024 Bulgaria Cup finalist Spartak Pleven.


Inter Bratislava vs Legia Warszawa


Series history: Inter Bratislava (1-0) will face Legia Warszawa (2-0) for the first time.


Slovak club debuted in the ENBL on October 15, defeating Basket Brno on the road.


Legia Warszawa are 2-0 after wins over Fyllingen Lions, 102-72, and at Dinamo Bucharest, 91-88.


Tipoff at 18.00 CET.


Key matchup: Isaiah Cousins averages 16.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 7.1 assists for Inter Bratislava.

The Eagles won at Spišski Rytieri, 91-84, on October 16.


Spartak Pleven lost home opener against Valmiera, 89-104, and then suffered a 68-83 defeat at Opava.


Tipoff at 20.30 CET.


Key matchup: Mike Okauru averages 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists for Newcastle.


Guard graduated University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2022.
