The second half of February feature two series of events: national Cups and the 2023 World Cup European qualifiers for the National teams.
Poland: Anwil, Stal and Trefl advance to the semifinals
The quarterfinals delivered four surprises – the lower seeded teams won on all occasions!
The 2022 ENBL champion Anwil Wloclawek defeated PLK leader BM Stal Ostrow, 89-80.
Malik Williams had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.
The hosts Polski Cukier Start Lublin edged out Legia Warszawa, 87-86.
Cleveland Melvin led the home team with 18 points, including a 4-of-7 shooting from the three point line.
Gabe DeVoe and Klāvs Čavars added 17 points each.
Trefl Sopot held WKS Slask Wroclaw to 70 points.
Žan Tabak`s team prevailed 79-70, while Wroclaw played without head coach Andrej Urlep.
Finally King Szczecin fell at the hands of PGE Spojnia Stargard, 87-92.

King Mindaugas Cup: Šiauliai will host Final 4
BC Wolves lost the quartefinal series against Euroleague team Žalgiris (79-95 at home, 72-91 on the road).
Šiauliai finished third in the group B – behind Nevežis Kedainiai and CBet Jonava – and didn`t qualified for the playoffs.
The Final Four will take place at the Šiauliai arena on February 18-19.
Rytas Vilnius will face CBet Jonava in the first semifinal, followed by a clash between Lietkabelis Panevezys and Žalgiris Kaunas.
Israeli Basketball State Cup
Ironi Ness Ziona won the quarterfinal game against Hapoel Be`er Sheva, 83-79, on January 14.
Elad Hassin`s team advanced to semifinal and lost against Euroleague team Maccabi Tel Aviv, 73-85, on Monday, February 13, at Jerusalem.
Ironi Ness Ziona reached State Cup semifinal for the third time in club`s history (2016, 2020, 2023).
Hapoel Jerusalem won the cup after a 67-61 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv on February 16.
