Keila Coolbet will continue to play in the European North Basketball league.
Estonia is one of the countries with the continuous and numerous representation in the league.
Tartu Ülikool entered the league in 2021, while TalTech and Kalev/Cramo joined in 2022.
Just like a year before Estonia and Latvia basketball league will be represented by at least three teams as Tartu and Valmiera have confirmed their return.
Keila Coolbet had a solid debut season and managed to finish in the 12th place – ahead of Spartak Pleven, Svendborg Rabbits, Basket Brno and Valmiera Glass ViA.
Peep Pahv and his men posted two wins over Valmiera and Basket Brno.
Kristen Kasemets scored 39 points, setting a new ENBL record.
Team from northern Estonia posted a 10-20 record in the Pafbet league and advanced to the Estonian quarterfinals.
Keila suffered a 2-3 defeat at the hands of 2022 Estonian champion Parnu.
It was a significant improvement – a year before Keila was swept against Tartu.
The positives – Keila Basket has its own youth team and a women's team participating in the Estonia`s top division.
Proximity to the Lennart Meri international airport is also an advantage – Estonian capital Tallinn is just a short drive away.
Keila Basket was created in 2022, in connection with Keila's entry into the Estonian-Latvian league and the creation of a professional team.
Keila posted a 11-19 record in its debut season and finished twelfth in the Estonia-Latvia league – infront of University of Latvia, Tallinna Kalev/Audentes, Valmiera Glass/ViA and Tarvas Rakvere.
