In the end...it does matter: Bristol Flyers win four in a row!

Bristol Flyers regrouped after a tough loss at the SLB Trophy final to defeat short handed Keila Coolbet, 82-77, on Tuesday, January 28, at the Keila tervisekeskus in northern Estonia.

Landstede Hammers Zwolle won the last three games of the regular season but didn`t qualified for post season a year ago.


Bristol Flyers went a step further and finished their second season with four wins in a row.


It still matters as the team from southern England secured a solid Top 10 finish.


Jared Sherfield led the Flyers with 23 points on 7/12 shooting from the field.


Lander University standout set his personal record in points scored.


Sherfield also tied his best result in rebounds with eight.


Evan Walshe followed with 16 points.


Barry University and Oaklands College guard grabbed nine rebounds too.


Andrii Myronenko led Keila Coolbet with 31 points on 12/16 shooting from the field.


Ukrainian power forward joined the 30 points club.


Myronenko also had a “Top 7” shooting performane from the three point line as he made seven threes on 10 field goal attempts.



Key stats

Bristol Flyers shot 47 percent from the field, while Keila Coolbet shot 43 percent.


The visitors outscored Estonians in the paint, 42-22.


Despite a very short bench, Keila Coolbet managed to score 13 points on fast breaks in the second half.

Bristol Flyers improved to 4-4, while Keila Coolbet dropped to 1-6.


Andreas Kapoulas and his men posted a 3-1 record on the road.


More impressive, they won four games in a row.


Second season in the ENBL is in the books but there will be no respite for the Flyers.


SLB Cup semifinals await on February 7 and 9 against...the 2024 ENBL MVP Rickey McGill and the Sheffield Sharks.
