ENBL schedule to be revealed on August 21



European North Basketball league`s technical meeting took place on August 18, 2024, at the Radisson Rīdzene hotel in Rīga, Latvia.


Representatives from 17 teams and 12 countries – participation rate 94.4% for teams and 100% for countries – attended the technical meeting to discuss upcoming season and changes in regulations.


The most important news, everyone`s been waiting for – the ENBL 2024-2025 schedule is set to be revealed on Wednesday, August 21, at 09:00am Central European Time.


As of Saturday, 67 out of 72 regular season games were officially confirmed.


Most likely, all games will be confirmed by Tuesday afternoon, setting stage for the fourth season.


The regular season will take place from Tuesday, September 17, until Friday, February 7, 2025.


Four best teams from each group will qualify for the best-of-two, home and away playoffs, set on February 8-March 21, 2025.


There will be no games during official FIBA windows for Men: November 18-26, 2024 and February 17-25, 2025.


The Final Four will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8-9, 2025.


Broadcasts | ENBL access

All games will be broadcasted in at least three countries, including home country, visiting country and Best4Sport TV in Latvia, plus a live stream in league`s official YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@ENBLeague .


Every team must provide a broadcast for every home game.


Several teams did broadcasts on their own in previous seasons.


Referee-observer at video

Starting from 2022, every ENBL game features three referees on the court and one referee-observer at video (on spot or virtual).


From 2024, every team must have a referee video support.


ENBL referees

There were 60 referees working in the 2022-2023 season and 89 referees in the 2023-2024 season.


ENBL teams

Three teams – Basket Brno, Tartu Ulikool Maks&Moorits and Valmiera Glass ViA – have played in the ENBL from the Season One and don`t have to pay annual membership fee.


The fourth team with three years experience in the ENBL – Šiauliai – took a break this year and may return next season.


There are nine new teams this year, including newcomers from Germany, Norway and Slovakia.


All teams will play eight games against eight different opponents from eight different countries – four games at home and four on the road.


Three head coaches attended the technical meeting – Andreas Kapoulas from Bristol Flyers, Peep Pahv from Keila Coolbet and Calix Ndiaye from Fyllingen Basket.
