Curtain falls on the regular season with two games in Tartu and Bergen

Last two games of the regular season to be played on Wednesday, February 5. The quarterfinal pairs will be set after a game between Tartu Ulikool and Newcastle Eagles. Fyllingen Lions will host Bamberg Baskets.



Tartu Ulikool vs Newcastle Eagles


Series history: Tartu Ulikool Maks&Moorits (2-5) will face Newcastle Eagles (6-1) for the first time.


Tartu will finish in the sixth place in Group A, regardless of outcome.


Newcastle Eagles will top Group A with a win.


The Eagles will finish second with a loss.



Key matchup: Omar el-Sheikh averages 13.0 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists for Tartu.


Arkansas State University big man shoots 63.0 percent from the two point line and 44.4 percent from the three point line.

The Eagles, fresh off SLB Trophy triumph, won at Manchester, 89-85, on February 2.

Fyllingen Lions vs Bamberg Baskets

Bamberg Baskets have secured the second place in Group B.
