Bamberg Baskets stay undefeated at home and advance

Bamberg Baskets withstood comeback attempts by Basket Brno and posted a 90-70 victory to book a ticket to the 2025 European North Basketball league playoffs on Tuesday, January 21, at the Brose arena in southern Germany.

Bamberg fans filled the stands of Brose arena – 3575 people arrived to support their favorite team.


KeyShawn Feazell led the home team with 17 points on 6/11 shooting from the field and a perfect 4/4 result from the charity stripe.


A 2024 ENBL finalist added four rebounds, two steals and one block.


Ronaldo Segu also had an impressive stat line.


The University of Buffalo point guard had 14 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals.


Ethan Chargois was the flame bearer for Basket Brno.


The University of Oklahoma forward contributed with 15 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals.


Richard Balint checked out with 15 points and four assists.

Key stats

Bamberg Baskets secured a fast double digit lead in the first ten minutes, 27-17.


Basket Brno fought back and trailed just by three points, 66-63, with less than 10 minutes left.


The hosts went on a 12-0 run, started by Brandon Horvath and finished by Ronaldo Segu, 78-63.


Brno never recovered from that blow.


Bamberg Baskets shot 32 percent from the three point line, 11/34, compared to 13 percent for Basket Brno, 2/15.


Noah Locke and Ibrahim Watson-Boye made three three pointers each.


Bamberg Baskets turned the ball over just 11 times and scored 20 points off Brno turnovers.


Bamberg bench outscored Brno, 39-18.



Game notes

Bamberg Baskets improved to 6-1, while Basket Brno dropped to 2-4.


Anton Gavel and his men booked a ticket to the playoffs.


Bamberg Baskets posted a perfect 4-0 record on the home floor.


The Bavarians have guaranteed a play-off game at the Brose arena and will fight for the right to advance to the Final Four.


Basket Brno may still qualify for the playoffs but two wins may be not enough.
