Ainars Bagatskis | CSO Voluntari
Latvian coach took the coaching reins of CSO Voluntari in 2023, accepting invitation from Ionut Georgescu, then team manager.
It turned into a fruitful cooperation – as of March 31, 2025, CSO Voluntari have medalled in three competitions, capped by a triumph at the 2025 Romanian Cup Final Eight in Oradea.
CSO Voluntari reached the 2024 ENBL Final Four in its debut season and earned a silver medal at Aarhus followed by a bronze finish in the Romanian Championship,
Ainars Bagatskis was appointed as a head coach for Ukraine national team for the second time.
Nicknamed “The Golden Hand” for his three point shooting prowess, Bagatskis represented Latvia national team in 143 games and scored 2165 points – averaging 15.1 points per game!
Bagatskis started to coach Latvian men`s national team after disastrous EuroBasket 2009 – he built an almost entirely new team and posted better results on a year-after-year basis.
Latvians finished 21th in EuroBasket 2011, took eleventh place in EuroBasket 2013, made it to the quarterfinals in EuroBasket 2015 and conquered the fifth place in EuroBasket 2017.
Bagatskis won the 2006 Lithuania Basketball league (LKL) and Baltic Basketball league (BBL) titles with Žalgiris Kaunas.
He became a two time Ukrainian Superleague champion with Budivelnyk Kyiv (2013, 2014) and guided the Builders to their Euroleague debut.
Bagatskis won the 2017 Israel Cup at the helm of Maccabi Tel Aviv, coached Bamberg Baskets (2018-2019) and Kyiv Basket (2019-2022).

Aramis Naglič | Inter Bratislava
Inter Bratislava play-caller was a very successful player at the times of change.
Power forward started his professional career at Kvarner Rijeka (1983-1989).
In 1989 he joined Jugoplastika Split – the only team after ASK Rīga which won Euroleague title three times in a row (Munich 1989, Zaragoza 1990, Paris 1991).
Head coach Božidar Maljkovič assembled one of the most talented young teams ever, featuring FIBA Hall of Famer Toni Kukoč, Dino Radja, Žan Tabak, Velimir Perasovič, Zoran Sretenovič and Luka Pavičevič, who joined forces with veterans like Duško Ivanovič.
Naglič continued to play in Split after the breakup of Yugoslavia in summer of 1991.
His teammates Toni Kukoč and Žan Tabak were drafted by Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets – and became NBA champions.
Naglič won two Euroleague and two Yugoslav league titles along with two Yugoslav Cup wins – all in a span of two years (1990, 1991).
He added two Croatia league titles with Cibona Zagreb (1998, 2005) and a Slovak league three-peat with Pezinok – a town 20 kilometers northeast of Bratislava.
One of the highlights – a silver medal with newly founded Croatia national team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics after a memorable battle against American Dream Team.
Naglič`s adventures in the 21st century are closely linked with neighboring countries – Austria and Slovakia.
He played for Traiskirchen – a town located 20 kilometers south of Vienna – from 2002 until 2004 and returned to the Austrian capital as a coach of Vienna from 2021 until 2024.
2024 marked the third time when Naglič took the coaching reins of Inter Bratislava – the first two were in 2012-2013 and 2019-2020.
He won two Slovak league titles with Inter (2013, 2019 – the last one for Bratislava club so far) and two titles with Vienna (Austrian championship and Austrian Cup in 2022).
Naglič is also a head coach of Slovakia national team.

Marc Steutel | Newcastle Eagles
The Newcastle Eagles – the most successful British basketball team of all time – won the 2025 Super League basketball Trophy on January 26 at the Utilita Arena Birmingham.
It was the first trophy for the Eagles with Marc Steutel at the helm.
Strategist took the coaching reins of the Eagles on May 13, 2022.
One year after Steutel`s appointment Newcastle Eagles decided to join the ENBL and reached the 2024 playoffs where they fell at the hands of Anders Sommer and Bakken Bears.
Fast forward one year later – the Eagles took revenge against the 2024 champions Bakken Bears and advanced to the 2025 Final Four.
Marc Steutel was an acting head coach of Great Britain national team during his first season with the Eagles – after he stepped in to cover former head coach Nate Reinking on a number of occasions – and was appointed a permanent head coach on June 5, 2023.
It turned into success as the British team qualified for EuroBasket for the sixth time (2009, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2022, 2025).
Steutel set qualifying for EuroBasket 2025 as his first goal – and he completed IT together with Bristol Flyers coach Andreas Kapoulas and General Manager Dan Clark.

Krzysztof Szablowski | Dziki Warszawa
March 5, 2025 marked the biggest upset in the ENBL playoffs history as lower seeded Dziki Warszawa defeated nine time German champion Bamberg Baskets, 95-74.
Two weeks later, Dziki won the series on aggregate, 167-165, after a series winner by team`s newcomer Alijah Comithier.
Bamberg Baskets were close to hosting the 2025 Final Four but a shocking loss at the Hala Kolo opened the doors for Inter Bratislava.
Krzysztof Szablowski became the coach of Dziki Warszawa on May 18, 2021, replacing Pawel Turkiewicz, who stepped down due to personal reasons and returned to his home of Wroclaw.
Szablowski comes from Wloclawek – a Polish city which hosted the 2022 ENBL Final Four and witnessed a triumph of Anwil.
He was an assistant coach at Anwil and briefly a head coach in 2012.
Szablowski worked in the second Polish division – I liga polska – with Polfarmex Kutno, Stal Ostrow and Dziki until 2023 when Warsaw team advanced to the PLK.
Krzysztof Szablowski was named 2023 Coach of the Year at the second Polish division.
He won 2007 Polish Cup and 2007 Polish Supercup with Anwil.
Szablowski reached 2006 and 2010 PLK finals with Anwil Wloclawek.
He helped Polish national team to qualify for the 2019 World Cup for the second time in history, while being an assistant to Mike Taylor – initially together with Pawel Turkiewicz and Wojciech Kaminski.
Szablowski co-founded Legia Warszawa basketball academy and led it until February 2021.
