10 out of 10: Inter Bratislava advance to the Final Four

Inter Bratislava continued to dominate in the paint and defeated Valmiera Glass ViA, 85-79, to punch the first ticket to Final Four on Tuesday, March 18, at the Gopass arena in Slovakian capital.


Players of the game

Dontay Caruthers was the lone Inter player who played more than 30 minutes.


The 2025 Defensive Player of the Year had 21 points on 7/8 shooting from the field and 6/10 from the charity stripe.


University of Buffalo guard filled the stat sheet with five rebounds, six assists and three steals.


Shamiel Stevenson followed with 14 points.


University of Nebraska guard registered six steals, matching opposing team.


Milan Szabo had 13 points and six rebounds.


Rostislav Novitskyi led Valmiera with 18 points on 8/10 shooting from the field.


Fordham center grabbed five rebounds too.


Kahliel Spear registered double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.


Robert Morris University star forward added seven assists.


Frankie Policelli checked out with 15 points and eight rebounds.


College of Charleston big man went 4/8 from the three point line.



Key stats

Inter Bratislava won the first quarter, 27-17, to increase series lead up to 32 points.


Valmiera never got closer by 28 points rest of the way.


Inter Bratislava shot 75 percent from the two point line, 15/20, in the first half.


Kahliel Spear and Rostislav Novitskyi put up some good fight but Inter backcourt outplayed Valmiera`s guards.


Both teams struggled from the three point line, 6/21 vs 9/35.


Valmiera bench outscored Bratislava, 29-31, thanks to three point shooting by Frankie Policelli and Mike Nuga.


Sharpshooter Verners Kohs returned to Valmiera lineup with seven points.


Inter Bratislava won the series, 190-162.



Game notes

Inter Bratislava improved to 10-0, while Valmiera Glass ViA dropped to 6-4.


Inter is the first team who has reached Final Four with a 10-0 record.


Valmiera, led by Nikolajs Mazurs, registered six wins after a 0-19 record in the first three seasons.


Latvian team will start Estonia and Latvia league quarterfinal series against Ogre on Saturday.


Aramis Naglič and Inter Bratislava are 5-0 at the Gopass arena.


Inter Bratislava will face CSO Voluntari in a semifinal on April 8.
